Location stays on device
Coarse location is used only to calculate your local sunrise and sunset. The maths runs on the phone; coordinates are never transmitted.
No ads, no analytics
The app contains no advertising SDK, no tracking SDK and no third-party analytics.
Your audio, untouched
A custom alarm sound is copied into the app's private folder so it still plays if the original moves. It is never uploaded.
Exact alarms, honestly used
The exact-alarm permission exists so alarms ring at the minute you set, even in Doze. It is used for nothing else.
Deleting is deleting
Uninstalling removes every alarm, setting and imported sound. There is no copy of it anywhere else.

No. There are no accounts, no servers and no analytics. Alarms, settings and imported sounds are written to your device's local storage only. The only outbound network request the app makes is to Google Fonts, which downloads the typeface on first launch and caches it.
So the on-screen sky matches your real one. The app calculates sunrise, sunset and twilight for your coordinates using standard solar equations that run entirely on your device. Only a coarse, city-level fix is requested, it is never sent anywhere, and declining it simply falls back to a fixed daily cycle.
Yes. Alarms are registered with Android as real alarm clocks, which are exempt from Doze, and they fire as full-screen notifications over the lock screen with their own sound. Aggressive battery optimisation from some manufacturers can still delay them, so we recommend excluding the app from battery optimisation.
No. Lock-screen visibility is granted only while an alarm is actually ringing, and it is revoked the moment you dismiss it or leave the app. The rest of the app, where alarms can be edited or deleted, stays behind your lock screen.
Yes. You can pick any audio file on your device and the app keeps a private copy so the alarm still works if you move or delete the original. If Android has to ring the alarm while the app is closed, it falls back to the built-in tone you chose, because the system cannot read files from an app's private folder.
Silent reminders at one hour, then 30, 15, 10 and five minutes before an alarm. Each expires as the next arrives, so only one is ever in your shade. They are on their own notification channel, so you can turn just the countdowns off in Android settings without affecting the alarms.
