1. Licence
Gree Web Solutions grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Alarm on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business use. This licence does not transfer ownership of the software.
2. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app or any part of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation.
3. Alarm reliability
Alarm schedules alarms using Android's alarm clock APIs and takes reasonable care that they fire on time. However, an alarm depends on conditions outside our control, including:
- manufacturer battery optimisation, "app sleep" or task killers that suspend background apps;
- Android permissions being revoked, such as exact alarms, notifications or full-screen intent;
- the device being powered off, out of battery, in an unsupported state, or its volume physically muted;
- operating system bugs, updates or custom firmware.
You should not rely on this app alone for anything where a missed alarm would cause harm, loss or danger. For critical wake-ups, please use a second independent alarm.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to any audio you import as a custom alarm sound. The app copies that file into its private storage purely so it can play it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any audio you import.
5. Privacy
The app collects no personal data and operates no servers. Full details are in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design, source code, bundled alarm tones and all related materials remain the property of Gree Web Solutions and are protected by copyright and other laws.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every alarm will always sound.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gree Web Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the app — including any consequence of an alarm failing to sound. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Updates and availability
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. Updates may be delivered through your app store and may be required for continued use.
10. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app, which also deletes all data it stored on your device.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when published on this page, and the date above will be updated. Continuing to use the app after that constitutes acceptance.
